The Ping G430 Max 10K Driver is Ping's straightest and highest MOI driver to date. The record-setting 10,000g-cm2 moment of inertia allows for increased forgiveness, lower spin and consistent ball speed across the face, Ping has introduced the G430 family for golfers of all skill levels.
In the new drivers, Ping's engineering team developed several new technologies common to all models while applying specific advancements to each individual head. The Max 10K is made with a heavier, 28g backweight with weight saved from the Carbonfly Wrap crown to help lower the centre of gravity and increase MOI. By maximizing the heel to toe and front to back dimensions allowed, this makes the Max 10K Ping's biggest head profile to date. This eye-pleasing shapes helps all golfers square the club at impact, inspiring confidence in longer, straighter tee shots.
Ping have produced measurable ball-speed gains while improving sound throughout the series. A new internal rib structure and increased curvature of the crown, skirt and sole fine tunes clubhead frequencies to produce a desirable sound and impact experience. The added ball speed is attributed to a shallower and thinner VFT forged face design engineered with Spinsistency, with variable roll radius innovation to generate faster ball speed and optimised spin across the face for Pings biggest distance gains to date.
